I am in LOOOOOOOOOOVE with this top! It was so quick and easy to sew it up and I really like the way it turned out. This was my first time ever trying a PDF pattern and I quite liked it. It was (and maybe still is) featured as a free download on their website, so I figured why not give it a shot? Now I want to buy up all the patterns on their website! I love how detailed the instructions were. Super easy to follow! I get so frustrated with some commercial patterns because the instructions can be so vague sometimes! And don't even get me started on the diagrams.

Anyway, for this top I used some silky black fabric, but I can't wait to try it in a fun print or even a white. I did have to make a few adjustments once I had it all sewn up. The neckline ended up being too wide so I added an additional pleat that you can see at the top of the shirt. I also raised the shoulders and cut off the excess fabric because I felt like the whole shirt was sitting too low on me and the arm holes were a bit too large. But those were quick and easy changes.

The leggings I'm wearing are made from the same black silky fabric. It has a decent amount of stretch so it worked out great. I used New Look pattern number 6529 to whip these bad boys up. I think they're quite slimming!
